HD light periodically flashes....

Im not sure why this is happening. Any ideas?

Before all the "why are you running raid 0" folks come out. I did it just to see if i could and i have a third HD for backup.
 
Unfortunatly i have no solution to this problem, but i do have the same issue. I just setup a new pc, and raided two 250 samsung p120's for OS and storage (i do HAVE an external 160gb backup unit, which i will be backing up all my important files to). Even when i am doing nothing on my pc, i can here the HDD seeking every few seconds and i see periodic flashes off the HDD light.

My setup is RAID 0 with 128k stripe size.
 
Hi, Maybe this will add to the clues. I have 3 Computers running Win98SE. Two are doing the same thing. The third one is set up near the same as the other two as a spare and tester. It doesn't do it. I'm going to reload to a spare hard drive and see what it does. Jim
