HD LED comes on, stays on.

Help!! I have a W2K box that the HD led will function properly (on and off as the drive is addressed) then the LED will say on untill the machine is rebooted. It's s BH6 motherboard and the problem only happens after I installed W2k. Ideas. R
 
I kinda have the same problem, my power led stays on even when the computer is off, so basically its on 24/7. According to my mobo manual it tells me to plug the power led into pins 2 and 4 but my problem is that it plugs into 3 pins and not 2. So I just plugged the power led into any 3 pins until it lit up. I would like to fix this too if someone knows the solution.
