HD is buzzing/humming

It could be that i've just never noticed this sound before, but I doubt that. It's a nearly 2 year old WD 80 gig. I ran all the WD tests and they all came back saying the drive had no problems. I have noticed no performance difference in any of my applications and load times seem to be the same as always. Even though, i'm still worried that one day it will just give out. Any suggestions?

Run this Drive fitness test.

It works with all brands so don't worry about the hitachi thing. (We use it at work everyday and it works fine on all drives.)

Usually if you get anything but 0x00 your drive is bad.

i would worry just due to the fact it's a WD, dft is great, but plan for the worst and save your stuff
