Is it possible to place a hard drive in a CD-RW USB Casing? I have a sony Spressa CDRW USB case that I wanted to put a hard drive in (since it is IDE to USB) but it won'treconize the hard drive when I put it in. It sees the CD-RW, DVD, CD-ROm drives (i haven't tested an IDE zip drive yet), but when I place a hard drive in it, it acts as if there is nothing there. Any help is appreciated.

I bet the drivers have to be different for a HD. I would think that the USB to IDE controller would work with the HD, just with different drivers. Also, I assume you set the jumpers correctly........

well actually, how would you set the jumpers for a usb device? It shouldn't matter how the jumper is set on the drive. Anyways I have tried it all the ways possible. Any one know where to get HD USB drivers at?
