HD size will vary depending on what is being shown. High motion and action will generally be bigger files than static type video.

Tried the NextPVR and it didn't seem to work for me. But I admit I didn't read up too much on how to set it up. It is just that setting up Kodi was so easy.
I bought my first MyHD HDTV card from a guy who never used it, off ebay in 2004. He bought an HD Tivo (then newly released) instead, and I've many times thought about this. Undoubtedly, he had much better luck than I in terms of ease of use. The guys who bought the MyHD cards seem to be by and large geeky guys who work with technology a lot and aren't fazed by having to work through technical issues. It's more than reading the manual, although that helps (and for the MyHD cards the manual was a big help but written in badly fractured English). The forum threads (at AVS Forums) are what have been the biggest help.

BeyondTV 4 can supposedly be setup to work with the HD Homerun Prime for recording but I never ended up doing that. I might have to do it if I ever upgrade my main desktop to Win10 and they remove WMC.
