Hi I was curious if someone might help me ive been running windows 7 and recently have been receiving an error when i boot into windows saying theirs an ACHI Port 1 error when I investigated this further with HD tune pro it claims

05 reallocated sector count current 17 worst 17 data 3404 Failed

I'm wondering how much life can I expect out of my hard drive or is there anyway to save my hard drive and fix the issue ? As I've not been having any issues in terms of speed or performance just this error message and that it claims my hard drive is failing.

thanks for your help

The same as others Backup and replace ASAP. Never trust a drive that reports errors. I have seen them run for years with errors and then I have seen them fail without reporting any previous errors or problems. Cheap insurance replace it.
