I'm thinking of getting a laptop for school, but would really like to keep my 40 gig from my desktop system on the road with me. I will be running a dual-boot XP/Linux system, and speed isn't really a concern...the drive contains mainly data/music files.
Are these enclosures safe/reliable and compatible with Linux? Are there any size limitations if I choose to get a 200gig behemoth later on down the road? Any tips would be appreciated.
