Just saw this on another website and seems like a good deal for anyone with an HD DVD player that wants more titles: http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=12...7JFWUPSYRTJ&rh=&page=1
Just an FYI, some of these older movies or budget transfers don't look much better than their DVDs. They're certainly higher resolution but you just see more noise and the low quality transfer more clearly. The main benefit I found (from Netflix rentals mainly) was support for higher quality audio, but many only support standard AC-3. Still, a good price considering they're definitely better than the DVD counterparts for the same price.Originally posted by: nunya
Army of Darkness in HD for 5 bucks? Un-pass-up-able! Some other good titles in there also, thanks OP!

Great deal!
FYI on the "Payback - Straight Up - Director's Cut." The ending is fucking lame. IIRC, they switched the male bad guy boss for a female and the entire ending is different. It was so fucking gay I blocked it from my memory. I really wouldn't bother buying this version in HD-DVD because the plot sucks so bad now.
