i have a question as to if anyone has attempted this. i would like to know beforehand that this venture is possible and it will work. i plan on ordering a hd-dvd/blu-ray drive and an external enclosure, but im worried about the size of the hd-dvd/blu-ray drive, if it will fit in this enclosure. i need to do this soon since my laptop drive seems to be dieing and i need a replacement asap. i figured i may as well go with the next gen format and be happy with it.

and since any returns from my current location are impossible for the most part since it takes so long to get here. this would be a one shot deal.(don't worry about the price, I'm looking at other places via pricewatch and I've found a few reliable places that sell them cheaper that i can order from. that and this drive will see regular use and heavy burning along with use later on when i get back home and put it in my desktop.) the only reason im concerned about this is because new tech is usually a larger size than normal. so if you know of a larger enclosure that will fit one of these drives. i don't care about aesthetics i just want it to work.(looks will come later)
