Hey All!
So starting today everytime I turn on my computer my Primary HD tells me that a failure is doomed to happen and I should back it all up RIGHT NOW and replace the HD. The one that is failing is 30 GB's and I have a 120 gb drive I am hardly using in my machine as well. So I want to be able to just copy everything over to one of the partitions on the other HD. Yet, I am afraid that as soon as I do that that the system will fail on me because it is no longer C:\ but instead something like J:\

Can anyone help me out here as to successfully pull this off with the LEAST amount of headache?

Thanks...

When are the error's occuring?

Are they SMART status error's?

Did you try running the Manufacturer's HD Diagnostic software?

You be trying to move the data needlessly.
If you do want to move it, a utility such as Partition Magic would make the
job pretty painless.
