HD corrupts big files

I've noticed that my SATA Samsung 200Gb Single partition HD tends to corrupt bigger (500 mb and up) files. Explicitly, when I've reconstructed a CD image on this drive from smaller rar's, I had several CRC errors when trying to unpack archives from within that image. I've tried it 2 times, the errors were different every time. I know that it is HD-related, as when I've unpacked the same file to my second HD, I had no problem at all. SMART shows no issues with the drive. My assumption is that I have some bad blocks which are not properly mapped. How can I test/fix this issue? I'm running XP, disk has NTFS formatting.
Thank you all for ideas.
