HD converted to raw

A friends hard drive converted to raw. She has tons of photos on it. I used HD Tune 2.53 ver to scan drive and it is showing almost all the sectors are bad and the scan is not even at the half way point.
Will I be able to recover her photos? I was scanning with easeus it took over 9 days to get to 91%. It found the partition and some photo and video folders. But before it could get done the power went out due to a storm. What is a good way to recover photos from a raw hard drive?
Thanks

Probably that drive already had a widespread bad sectors on the media. You may try getting an image of that drive first using ddrescue. Then you can work on with the data recovery procedure from the image with Testdisk/Photorec or some other decent but paid data recovery applications.
