HD activity for a SATA hd on an Asus K8V SE Deluxe?

I built a socket 754 system today with an Asus K8V SE Deluxe and it's running great except for one minor thing. The hard drive light is monitoring IDE activity...but I only have optical drives on the IDE ports. I'm using a single SATA hard drive on the first VIA SATA port, a NEC 2500A DVD+/-RW drive as the primary master (IDE), and a Lite-On 52x32x52x CD-RW drive as the secondary (IDE) master.

So, instead of the cases' hard drive light representing hd activity, I get dual CD/DVD drive lights 😛

Is there a SATA hd activity header? I can't seem to find one.

That kinda sucks actually.
I bet the only way you can monitor HDD activity on SATA is with a controller card.. they often have hookups for LED's.
crappy deal.
