Got the cheap single fan MSI card on Monday from Newegg and I've been seeing pinkish/purple artifacts even at stock on my desktop after playing games usually for 10 to 20 minutes. They sometimes appear ingame as well but mostly on my desktop. I can get rid of them by readjusting my desktop color in CCC but this doesn't seem normal. I do play my games windowed whenever possible if that makes a difference.

Edit: Fixed the pic. See the pink around the Raider logo and randomly around the desktop.

Have to love newegg,if you purchased today you could get the msi TF3 for the same price and with free shipping but no rebate...still need that $225 cash anyways to get either card but just no rebate.

That msi card you got has to many bad reviews on newegg for anyone even myself to consider,if you could return it asap perhaps you could get the TF3 in return?
 
Well I'll probably just rma for the same card. Without the visa.me and rebate the TF3 would cost me $50+ more. I don't game that often anymore so just want a decent card that doesn't turn my desktop all pink.

Any opinions on what might cause this? Or is this just a clear case of a bad card.
 
Ok back it goes I guess. At least I don't have to haggle with newegg about return shipping fees since I have shoprunner.
