HD 7950-OC 950MHZ Black/Striped Screen

I just got my new gaming pc, ordered by parts:

I7-3770k@4.2Ghz
Antec Kuhler H2O 620
Sapphire 7950 OC 950Mhz
Samsung S24B350H
G-Skill Ripjaws X 2133 Mhz
Asus P8Z77-M Pro
Nox Hummer 650W
And my WD/Maxtor old HDD

- The BIG PROBLEM is that when i was playing at ultra setting Borderlands 2(90-130fps) i got a black/blue striped screen, couldnt do nothing, had to reboot the pc, in League of legends(350-420fps) i got a screen - reboot - entered the game, after 3 sec striped screen again. I have no flickering, I had installed Catalyst 12.8, i uninstalled it and installed 12.9 Beta.

- I installed Heaven Benchmark and ran Direct x9, at 1920x1080, and at stage 26 i got:

Have you oced the card any further?what are the temps?The factory oc may not be entirely stable.
 
Ok then download Hwinfo and check your vrm temps.If every thing is fine try to run the card at stock 7950 settings.
 
you have a dud card mate rma it asap... i got those screen when i was running on my 5770 when my OC wasnt stable and if this is happening at stock clocks the card is most likely broken

How the RMA works? they give u a new card? what card do u have now? did it fixed after rma?

if you live in continental US its less of a hassle so if you do just call the retailer if its less than 30 days from when you purchased it. if its past that then call the card manufacturer
 
Just did a Heaven 3.0 at full detail + tesselation max, and completed with lowest fps 14, max 110 or so in DX11, and if i try DX9 it fails everytime at stage 25 to 26, wtf is this.
 
Well Sapphire's RMA is nice and smooth. I just had my 7950oc (900/1250) RMA'd.

My first card died a few weeks after I pushed it to 950. Not that a 50mhz oc killed it, just kinda bad card Im thinking.

But yea, my old one had the same type of artifacts you described. Now I'm wondering if the 7950 Sapphire line is a bit on the poorly made side...
 
Now i installed catalyst 12.4 and now i dont have to reboot the pc when i get the screen, the screen disapears and then i get like 0.5sec a image with the last stage in Heaven but is distortioned u cant really see much, only a bit of background, then it shows the desktop and tells me that Heaven has crashed.
