Is my HD 6850 good enough for The Elder Scrolls V, Civilization Beyond Earth and the newer Total War stuff? Or is it time to replace it?

I assume you meant 1080... Skyrim should be fine, Civ: BE might work at mid-low settings, and you might be screwed as far as Total War goes. If you were to upgrade, what would your budget be? Upgrading is what i would recommend btw

You're probably better off just forgetting about Total War in that case unless you find a good deal on a used card and don't mind turning settings down and/or 30FPS.

What are the rest of your specs btw?

What is an ENB?

It's a mod made by Boris Vorontsov, that allows users to change the shaders used in Skyrim. People have written their own HLSL code using it, and made Skyrim look very, very amazing.

The Natural Lighting And Atmospherics mod is a good example.

The 6850 is long in tooth, however, lower the res, and you can play most of those games listed at a good pace.

If you insist on 1080 with all the eye candy, then yeah, time to upgrade.

I need you to post your full system specs as well.
