Overall I think the AMD system is a better balanced system and you get more for your $$$
Not where he's shopping, and nowhere in this universe is a hybrid crossfire setup going to be preferable, especially in a low-RAM environment.

AVP:
Hybrid crossfire: 21FPS
7770: 34FPS
Heaven 0xaa:
Hybrid crossfire: 14FPS
7770: 31FPS
3DMark 11 and Vantage, again the 7770 is twice as fast. "Moar cores" isn't a particularly convincing argument when you're suffering from half the GPU power. We're not overbuilt on GPU with the 7770, so we don't have it to spare.
He doesn't have DDR3-1866 RAM available to him under an rs5000 8GB kit, and the A10 is rs8500 compared to the G2010's rs3400.
The comparison pricing would be:
Intel CPU+GPU+RAM: rs13600
AMD CPU+GPU+RAM: rs16600, apples-to-apples, pricing half that 8GB kit. (rs19100 required to be spent, though)
rs3000 more for half the performance.
