i'm thinking of buying hd 6670 but i'm afraid that it will burn my psu and i cant afford a new psu (pocket money problem)
so my question is
will it be safe to use radeon HD 6670 1 GB DDR5 with my psu
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=384849268239941&set=p.384849268239941&type=1
my pc specs are
intel pentium e5400 @2.7 ghz
motherboard - gigabyte g31m-es2l
4 gb ram
windows 7 32 bit
monitor resolution 1366x768
nvidia 9400 gt (current graphics card )
and the second question is
is hd 6670 compatible with my motherboard
you guys can also suggest a better gpu if my cheap psu can handle it
Thanks.

Your PSU is rated at 450 watts; that should be well enough to power a Radeon HD 6670 safely. You could probably even get a Radeon HD 7750 and it would be fine. If you do get a 6670, be sure to get the GDDR5 version, not the DDR3 version. (GDDR5 is faster for games).

That is one crappy psu for sure.It is rated 18A on 12V rail but i will be skeptical about its true output. Most of the times they provide false specs.OP how about a decent psu first before doing a video card upgrade?

as i mentioned in my first post .. i cant afford a decent psu now
i've have only 6k and a decent psu will cost aroung 2-2.5k.... if i buy a new psu than i wont be able to buy 6670 which costs around 4.5-5k ddr5 version

btw is it safe to use 6670 with my crrapy psu ??

Can my psu handle hd 6770

I would not trust it for that. The Radeon HD 6770 requires a separate PCI-E power connector to give it some extra power. The fastest graphics card available now that does not require a PCI-E power connector is the Radeon HD 7750 -- it's about as good as the 6770. If you want to go a step above the Radeon HD 6670, I would recommend the 7750. Anything better and you would probably need to upgrade your PSU.
