It would be interesting to see an exact scenario with pci-e 1.0 lanes...

It’s pretty easy to infer most of that scenario given PCIe 2.0 at a given speed has double the bandwidth of PCIe 1.1 at the same speed.

So PCIe 2.0 @ 4x is the same as PCIe 1.1 @ 8x, and so on.
