HD 5570 over 9400gt

How much of a performance boost would a 5570 1gb gddr3 be over a 9400gt 512mb gddr2?

seems like the 9400gt is dying, so looking for a cheap upgrade.

Light gaming and photoshop cs5 are primary uses. I figure the 1gb over the 512mb will be nice for light gaming and for photoshop.

The pc is running an amd kuma 2.7ghz, 4gb of mem ddr2, and a 500w antec. Any problems there, bottleneck wise?

Do you need a low profile card?

I would ditch the 5570 and get a 6670 GDDR5. You can get them in low and non-low profile flavors. They tear the 5570 apart.

Looking to stay at around $50, if the performance boost is worth it. If not, then I will look to spend more.

Light gaming = CS 1.6

Ended up ordering the 6570 for my bros comp.

Also, going to be LANing with my bro and friend tomorrow. Play some L4D. I'd like for my brothers PC to be able to max it out. How does an AMD x2 7750BE Kuma fair against the recommended CPU of the Intel Core 2 Duo E4600?
