HD 510 vs HD 530 Video Decoding?

I'm tossing up between a G4400 ($90 AUD) and a G4500 ($130 AUD) for my HTPC upgrade. Considering I don't intend to do any gaming on the HTPC, are the video decoding capabilities any different between these two chips? Can the HD 530 of the G4500 decode higher bitrate H264 for example, or are the decoding capabilities the same between the HD 510 and HD 530?

Cheers

The stronger GPU may help, but not in the case of h.264. The new kids on the block are h.265 and VP9. While Skylake has almost entire HW acceleration for HEVC (h.265) it uses partial acceleration for VP9 and likely relies on GPU grunt to decode it. So for the foreseeable future the GPU will matter even in decoding (afaik having dual channel for RAM will also help)

However, even if you pick the cheaper alternative, you can always get a low tier graphics card with more robust decode support by the end of this year or when you start needing it.
