HBO's Westworld

I am pretty excited about this. I need to see the original movie, if nothing else to see the first movie with a computer generated effect.
 
Have been looking forward to this one myself, the original movie was cool when it came out.

I'm betting HBO will hit this one out of the park, it just fits in so well with a lot of what they do best.
 
so it's like the matrix but the theme park is actually physical, not mental like the matrix?
i need to watch the original now.

I LOVED the original as a kid. It was so crazy and spooky and... odd. Going back and watching it now though it's sort of laughable in its production quality and "future-ness". It's quite laughable. Still the story holds up so well. I really do think this is something HBO will knock out of the park
