It wasnt bad. Not sure if its in the rotation of shows to watch but with it between Ali G and 6FU, I bet I will watch it this year.

Piven is good enough alone to watch it.

There will be plenty of excessively attractive women in it, so I'm thinking it will be a mostly male-oriented show. It's only a half hour, so I think I'll probably keep watching it.

I think J Alba is in it next week. I believe she was used as the actress in the movie premiere they were attending. Have to look at the giant billboard behind him when he gets out of the limo.

I think it's pretty funny and worth watching. I would continue to watch it if its after Six Feet Under. I also watched Da Ali G show for the first time last night... I couldn't believe how funny that was!! I was laughing out loud. The best part was with the pictures of his 'sister'. Are they always that funny? I will be watching others on HBO on Demand.

And holy crap! That Six Feet Under episode was NUTS!!

I would have to say that YES all the Ali G shows are that funny. They had a marathon on Friday night and they were great.

The sister part was funny but I loved the slave part more. When he asks if the black guy was their slave and they said, no we dont have that anymore, which is good...for them. Then he comes back with..but not so good for you! My wife and I lost it.

agreed. I bet I would have laughed more if it hadnt followed that particular 6fu episode. I was still digesting the intensity of that episode before I was ready to laugh. By the time Ali G came on I was ok.

It was OK, I hope they can keep it interesting though. Basically sex and the city for guys...super-consumer lifestyle, lots of meaningless sex, etc.

How bad was the 6FU? I don't watch the show but this is the third time I have heard it was bad. Someone told me it was more disturbing than any other HBO show, Sopranos and Oz included.

Six Feet Under isn't bad, it's a great show. I wouldn't even call it disturbing.. it's a dramedy. Excellent show. I haven't watched the 4th season yet, but the first three are great.

I really mean last night's episode. It was supposed to have been pretty brutal.

I wasn't as affected as most others seem to be. David was having a lot of his typical homoerotic fantasies, and it got him into trouble. It was definitely the most brutal episode of SFU, and I'm glad they didn't take it any further. David is actually one of my favorite characters for all of his mannerisms.

i think everyone was referring to last nights episode, which was PARTICULARLY disturbing, the first 15 mintes were a regular 6FU episode, with the scenes bouncing around through the entire cast of the show, with the usual progression of plots and story lines, etc, but then the last 45 minutes came out of nowhere and i think it shocked people even more that it lasted until the end of the episode, i think it will take several more episodes for the full effect of that scene to be worked out.

Kinda reminded me of the 20-25 minute dream sequence Tony Soprano had in the 2nd or 3rd to last episode, except i would consider his dream a sort of waste of film, whereas Davids little predicament last night on 6FU (which i wont spoil here) gives the show a whole new dimension this year.

Just watched the first episode...pretty good! For some reason, I really like this show despite it not having any particularly superb values...it's just different is all, and I like how character driven it is. Of course, it's HBO ;)

And yeah, Jessica Alba on next week...def gonna watch :D

That episode was..crazy. I hadn't seen SFU in a while, and caught it by accident and was suprised.
