This is not the slimmed down (no 4K + ads version that starts at 9.99/mo)
This has still several Warner movies that will be released on HBO at the
same time they are in theatres. I got this just so I can see Dune in Oct and the 4th Matrix in Dec.

"In 2021, HBO Max is streaming the entire Warner Bros. movie slate on the same day they premiere in theaters, available on the
platform for 31 days from release. Next year, Warner Bros. will produce at least 10 exclusive movies for HBO Max.

Currently available on HBO Max and in theaters is James Wan’s “Malignant,” the latest installment in the Conjuring horror
universe. Clint Eastwood’s “Cry Macho” launches day-and-date Friday (Sept. 17), with “Sopranos” prequel “The Many Saints
of Newark” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” coming in October. “The Matrix Resurrections” is set to arrive in December.

I get HBO Max included with my AT&T Uverse service, and it's one of the better streaming options out there.

You get a lot of brand new movies in theaters, and they have a deep catalog of other good shows like West World, Deadwood, and DC movies/shows and such. If I didn't already have it, I'd jump on that deal.

I originally had to connect my laptop to my TV to watch it that way, but it was such a pain to do so, I instead pulled out an old Roku player I hadn't used in years, and I stream the content using that as it is so much easier and the quality was better (video and audio).

I'm an existing HBO Max customer. My sub ended on the 26th so I couldn't use the $7.50 a month offer. On the 17th I got an email from HBO with this offer. Note this offer ends tomorrow!

Enjoy more non-stop action by signing up for our Ad-Free yearly plan and prepay just $109.99/year* for your first year (regularly $149.99/year).

Save now, stream all year long.

*Offer valid on the ad-free yearly plan through 9/26/21 for qualifying existing subscribers billed directly by HBO Max. Savings may vary based on current plan enrollment. Discount applies to first year only. Terms apply. For complete details, visit

Email title was: Limited-Time Offer: Save up to 26%.

This works about to be $9.17 a month which is a nice discount over the $15 a month normal price. If you're an existing customer

Edit: Both offers end tomorrow!

I've had HBO with Hulu for a while (a little before the newest Kong). Didn't care for Cry Macho, but I'm looking forward to Dune and Matrix. Been slowly going through the Dr Who seasons.
