what's worse is the parents who are downplaying the hazing/sexual assault and up in arms about the season being cancelled.

Before I even read the story I knew there would be parents that defended/down play the incident.

The crowd, at times, grew heated and animated, but the board affirmed the decision to end the football season.

Afterward, about a hundred people gathered under the lights on the football field, lingering for about 15 minutes, gazing across the impressive stadium, until it was time to go home.

All of them should be indicted on rape and sex assault charges and be found guilty. Sex offenders for the lot of them.

Unfortunately, that probably won't happen. I bet the parents of the rape victim(s) will successfully sue the school and maybe even the parents of the rapists, but I bet the students themselves will get some kind of trivial non-sexual non-felony charge, at most.

Initially my reaction was "who the F does that to someone?" Then I saw that the incident occurred in New Jersey and it all made sense.

Seriously though that is some messed up stuff. Rectal penetration is way, WAY over the line.

Why not? How is this any different than a high school boy dragging a young freshman girl into the bathroom and shoving his D in her bhole? That person would be brought up on rape for sure. This shouldn't be any different. Just because it's boy on boy and it's a finger and not a dick, shouldn't matter. Especially it's f'ed up because said finger is then put in your own mouth...pretty sick if you ask me.

Hazing when I grew up was fun, and pretty much harmless. "Oh, z1ggy, chug this beer you pansy" or, "z1ggy, to join the frat you need to wear this pink and purple dress around campus today." etc etc. There was never anything sexual, never anything gross like that.

Is it possible that the person assaulted wanted this to happen, then after feeling regret, later claimed hazing rape?

"hey guys, after this game it's always been my fantasy to get sodomized by upper classmen. think you guys can make it happen?"
