Hazed/Yellow & Oxidized headlights restored **PICS**

Do you think a kit like that would work on headlights like this:

My gf's car looks like that right now :\

It would definitely help.. those are heavily oxidized. If her vehicle is from the 80s like that one appears to be then some of the hazing may actually be on the inside of the headlight and inaccessible to the average DIYer, but cleaning the polishing the outside would still help a lot

We may be talking about different scenarios... I use the white toothpaste primarily for touching up cars that haven't been cleaned in the past ~5 years that have mild to moderate haze, and it works pretty quickly for that application

I've seen headlight cleaning kits that come with just a rubbing solution, and its a very similar consistency to the toothpaste

If you have 20+ years of caked on haze then you're probably looking at wetsanding the lights as the easiest way, but on a car that age the inside surface of the lens is probably messed up too
