Hawks reproducing at my job.

^ Not my pics. I wish I had a lens that can zoom in that far.
There are 2 hawks on my job. This year the two boogied down and made a nest right in the building I work in (to the dismay of the Fordham University faculty where they usually nested...lol) The headcount is 3 hawk chicks. Now we'll have 5 of them chilling here. I can't wait to see them terrorizing all the little animals here in the garden.

I've physcially gotten close to the two adults (they hunt where I park my car) and they usually chill on a nearby rooftop, clearly visible from my window. I've gotten about 20 feet near one before it flew away.

There is also one wild turkey roaming the area. There used to be two of them, but I dunno wtf happenned to the other. He disappeared around Thanksgiving last year. 🙁

lol, my job covers ~250 Acres. You don't see any pidgeons here. We get a lot of Geese though.

We have 2 Red tailed Hawks nesting in the building next to ours. I see the male outside my window sometimes flying around looking for food. I saw him bring a squirrel back to the next for the chicks to munch on the other day. Pretty cool. Amazing how big those birds are.

Awesome. When we were first moving into our house there was a family of hawks that living out back. The chicks were almost full grown (looked like smallish adults and hung around with their parents still) when we moved in and would play in the pine trees just outside our back window. It was pretty awesome watching them dive eachother and stuff, I didn't know they did that.

Unfortunately, they were the kind that hunting other birds. It was kind of a mixed blessing when they moved on since tons of other awesome birds showed up but they were really cool.
