Hawking Broadband Booster -- better pings for online gaming?

What do people think about the new Hawking "Broadband Booster"? The idea is that it uses patented technology to sent time-sensitive data out faster. A review is available here:

Does anyone have any experience with this product? Does it actually do anything useful, or is it really just snake oil?

Most importantly for me, would it give me better (lower) pings for online FPS gaming? Assume that I don't have any other computer connected to a network; just my DSL modem and a router for a firewall.

The review states that. ?Very effective for VoIP prioritization?.:light:

So I guess that is what it is good for.

try a ping test wired vs. wireless. you will find the difference negligible compared to the WAN side ping totals.
