Some rats got into my house during the last rain storms and have been driving the dogs crazy. I'm gonna get the fourlegged, scurvy bastards, though.

I just buttered up a rat trap with some peanutbutter and stuck it behind the clothes dryer, from whence them venture forth. :D If this doesn't work there is always poison, but I don't like the smell of decomposing rat bodies in my walls. :Q

One down ? to go!!!

my dad would put peanut butter on the traps but leave them unset for a few days, then he would set it. worked like a charm.

yeah same here.

we leave it unlatched for a few days then latch it. It does not take long for the rat to get caught.

I hear that high quality Vermont Select Cheddar Cheese works great for catching California rats.

I ain't no liberal, you pitiful excuse for a radical. I am a proud independent thinker, which leaves you looking through your preschool dictionary looking for a retort. :p

I prefer the kind that gently traps them so they sit starving and terrified because I forgot to check the traps before leaving on vacation.

Ugh, i hate teh traditional traps, everytime they caught one in the garage ther'd be some blood from teh mouse. Thats why I think the newer ones are better.
