having troubles with my modems

I use to use a leopard 56k modem isa, but then i switched to a new supra 56k modem pci. But was only getting about 28.8k and 31.2k for the supra modem, abd was getting around 42000-46000bps on my Leopard modem. Then i bought another modem, thinking it was the supra modem had some problems. I got a creative modem blaster pci v.92 and i still was getiing around 28.8k to 31.2k instead of 42000-46000 like i usually was getting... can anyone tell me the problem... is there something wrong with pci modems? cause i can never get that higher, and it already sucks at 42000bps so it sucks even mroe at 31200bps... someone help 🙁

Yes i already uninstalled previous drivers, but still experiencing the same problems..
