having trouble with the memory speed on my a8v-deluxe..

i have two 512mb pc3200 sticks of ram in my a8v deluxe, and it shows clocked at 150 mhz, when it should be clocked at 200.. now i set the memory to cpu ratio to 2:1 (DDR-400) in the bios memory configuration, but it doesn't seem to be working right. help anyone?

I had one of those and just ran my memory in auto mode. But if you are manually sitting it shouldn't it be run at 1:1?

What do you mean by "it doesn't seem to be working right"? It's still running at 150MHz?

yeah, i set it to 200 mhz in the bios, but on CPU-Z it shows 157.3 mhz...

when i run it at auto it just stays at 157.3 mhz..really weird.

i guess it's because the timings are different on both sticks.

should i take out the stick int he 1st slot and just change the second stick to the same timings and speed? would that work?
