Hey

Ive been working for a day trying to get this audio device recognized and its just not showing up. Ive tried booting live linux distros to make sure its not my drivers, and it doesnt work.

Mobo: MSI 694t pro (also the MS-6309) Version 5.

I updated the bios and it still doesnt read it. There are settings in the bios for the 'onboard audio' but no matter what I do, windows / linux does not find it,, i have the drivers,, but, i cant install them because the device is not even showing up in the 'other devices' panel.

Here are some models of the chips of the mobo, if this could help:

Any help could be apprechiated, im running out of ideas and I dont want to drive down to buy a new sound card, this integrated stuff used to work,,, a while back...

Any ideas appreciated!
Thanks!

I once ran into this problem a couple of years ago when I rebuilt a machine. Installing the chipset drivers solved the issue.
