having trouble with netscape mail and certain e-mails *Please help!*

I'm using the e-mail function or e-mail application that is part of the netscape 6.2 bundle and am hjaving issues with certain e-mails. I was having issues with them when I was using the netscape communicator 4.7X bundle as well. Some e-mails have a lot of html and try to have a pretty background, pictures, etc. However, the netscape mail applet doesn't like that very much and likes to crash when I get e-mails from certain senders (freeze and die, that sort of thing). Is there something that I am overlooking within the program (like some setting that needs to be set) or is the program just buggy with these kinds of mails? Should I move to a different e-mail client? Please help! Thanks!

i would switch over to outlook or outlook express in a heartbeat...Netscape went out a long time ago.

shouldn't be too difficult to enter your e-mail settings or import your netscape mail...you'll barely notice the switch.

let me know if you have trouble configuring it

if you're using netscape 6.2, i suggest you use mozilla. it's basically the same as netscape 6.x, minus the aol junks (well, actually netscape 6.2 is the "leftover" from mozilla plus aol junks). with that, you can import netscape profiles and emails and it will work just the same... (mozilla will ask if you want to import your netscape profiles when you first run it)

if you don't feel like installing it, outlook express may be the way to go ...

btw, i'm using netscape 4.7x for my browsing and email, and i've never had it crash even on html emails....
