Having Trouble With ABIT WB6 Mobo...

I have one of these mobos. I used a slotket to use a Celeron 466mhz processor. The board is installed and everything, but once I turn it on, it stops just short of a post and says CMOS Checksum error - Defaults Loaded. Then it will not respond to anything but the off button. I have cleared the CMOS but still no luck. What can I do? Here is the setup:

Abit WB6 mobo
eMachine case and powersupply (the one that the 466 celeron came on)
Seagate 4.3 harddrive
Generic Floppy
Samsung 40x CD rom
64mb pc100 RAM

Help is always appreciated. Thanks.

Does the slotket allow manual frequency adjustment? probably it is set at 100 fsb (or higher). Set it to either auto or 66.
Also try pressing the "insert" key while booting.

Problem fixed! The slotket was set to auto as well as the vcore. I held the insert key down upon booting, but still got the cmos error. The only thing this time was that I could enter the bios and change stuff. I set everything up right (the damn clear cmos didn't clear sh*t!) Then, everything worked correctly. Thanks for the response zzzz!
