Having trouble setting up a new mail account in Outlook express 6

My mom just got broadband, and I wanted to set her new email account up in OE, like her old dial up account. I went through the wizard to set it up, several times now actually. I am pretty sure evrything is typed in correctly, and I get no errors or anything. But the account while showing up in the accounts list, does not show up in the top left "Folders" pane. It never downloads the new folders or anything of that nature, what am I doing wrong?

What folders do you want it to download?

Inbox, outbox, deleted items, etc...

The only thing I can think of is that you do not have the correct incoming or outgoing mail server address. Other than that, there isn't anything that can go wrong.
