having trouble joining TeAm AnandTech for MW@H?

ok guys, so i added MW@H to my list of BOINC DC projects, sooner than i really wanted to i might add, but that's neither here nor there...my dilemma is that i cannot seem to join TeAm AnandTech at the MW@H website. when i go to my account, click on "find a team," and search for "TeAm AnandTech," i get the following:

Database Error
Database Error
Database Error
Database Error
No teams were found matching your criteria. Try another search.

i can't seem to find anything about joining teams on the MW@H message boards. i was wondering if anyone else has had trouble (or is currently having trouble) joining TA. i had no such trouble joining TA for E@H, S@H, and LHC@H. perhaps its a server-side issue? any related info or suggestions would be appreciated.

My account has no team.

When you look for the stats of the teams, there are no teams found.

It looks like their database is mangled.

bummer...in Spacehead's most recent team stats update thread, i recognize quite a few names on the MW@H list as they match their forum names here (dajeepster, petrusbroder, assimilator1, etc). i have to assume that they were able to join the team without a problem before the server/database started acting up. hopefully it'll get fixed sometime soon so that any credit i earn can go toward the team total. i suppose i ought to start a thread on the MW@H message boards since i can't seem to find one that addresses this issue over there...

OK, i did a bit more searching at the MW@H message boards and found a few threads regarding the problem...and sure enough, the powers that be over there have confirmed that part of the database that contains all team data has crashed. they are working on a fix as we speak. there isn't much more detail on the issue in those threads, but i'll link them anyways in case anyone wants to read them:

thanks! although i should mention that i i've been crunching intermittently since 2001, starting with the original SETI CLI. i can't remember exactly when i joined TA, but i've since been crunching S@H, E@H, and LHC@H for the team.

excellent. looks like they fixed the problem just after my previous post...so now i'm a member of TA for MW@H. i probably won't put up much credit for MW@H for the next month or so though b/c i haven't pulled the trigger on a GPU yet. i've had plans all along to join the MW@H project, but i actually joined prematurely just to keep my CPU from slacking off during the recent S@H and E@H down times. now that they're both back up and running, its back to crunching S@H and E@H WU's exclusively...that is, until i can find an appropriate GPU and i'll jump back into the MW@H game...

i know, i know, everyone's dying to see MW@H benchmarks w/ the 6970...but i think that might be a little more than i want to spend. i think the most expensive card under consideration is a 6950 1GB, or perhaps a 6950 2GB since they can be had for marginally more than the 1GB versions, and there's a chance the 2GB version can be unlocked to a 6970. that, and i'm also considering the new 6870 BE for its excellent & quiet cooling capabilities.
