Having trouble installing FireFox 1.0.6 on Linux.

Ok I'm still a noob here but I am getting better. I did cd firefox-installer, then I did ./firefox-installer and it gives me this message. What am I doing wrong?

What distro are you using? You'd be better off using the native package management system as just about everyone should have firefox all ready to go, if it's not already installed.

Fedora Core 4. I wanted to update it to 1.0.6 from 1.0.4

As root: "yum update firefox"

You should almost never have to go out and download software from the net manually. http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/yum/sn-managing-packages.html

Use the native package.

And the error explains itself, the libstdc++.so.5 library is missing.
