Having trouble installing a 56HP92-SL 56k V.92/V.44 modem

I'm having trouble installing this modem on my Windows 2000 machine. When I run the installation from the CD, it seems to completely install but when I go into the 'modems' section of the control panel, it doesn't show anything listed. Because of this, I can't connect to the internet. If I try to start a new dial-up connection, it tries to detect a modem but it doesn't find one. The only .inf file on the CD is AUTORUN.inf. What are my other options?
