Having Trouble Flashing Asus P4C800 BIOS.

Hey i have the P4C800 as stated in the title. Anyway i bought the board when it 1st came out. It has the origonal BIOS so far, and i've been having some problems with the SATA drivers.

I got the lastest ones and it suggested i update my BIOS to the latest version before i install the new drivers.

Well anyway i was just wonder how i'd really go about doing this? The Asus update prog doesn't seem to be working for me since it can't extract the BIOS it downloads and i get an error everytime.

Also one more problem, i have BIOS version 1002, not sure if u can jump straight to 1008, or if i have to DL 1004,5,6,7 ect.

If ya have a P4C800 give me a holla on how you flashed your BIOS, or if you just know how to. Sry for the long post

Actualy they are up to ver 1010 , you have the pc800 NON deluxe right?

1. Do not use Aflash.exe to update BIOSPlease use EZflash or Afusos.exe.
2. Support AMI NVRAM Manager.
3. Change DMI Base Board Information from "ASUSTek Computer Inc." to "ASUSTeK Computer Inc."

And you dont need to flash all the previous bioses you can flash strait to the latest.

It IS the P4C800 Delx... I know i overpaid :frown:!

Thanks for the 2nd link on the how to flash thing. I know not the DL the Bios file u linked to. And ys saved me alotta time since i was gonna flash them one by one !

I think it's the same bios file for both dlx & non dlx.

The link for that AFUDOS files has a bad link, it's not a EXE but a ZIP.
