Having trouble finding a computer desk I like..

I've been doing quite a bit of searching for just the right computer desk. I'm a complete novice when it comes to building your own, so I will only buy one. What I need is a NON-GLASS desk, with a fair amount of room to accomodate a 20" LCD and have room for papers and such. I really prefer to have some sort of shelf to show off my rig too. The closest example of what I like is the Studio RTA computer desk but it is glass and I don't want to deal with constantly cleaning a glass desk. Also I would like a little more desk room than that one. Any ideas?

Officemax usually has 20 or so desks on display in the stores. I live in the Akron area (I see you're in Ohio) and there are several office furniture stores around as well, but they are often expensive. Even places like Oak Express have several models on display.

Thanks, I'll have to check out Oak Express, never been there. Does Office Max's B&M selection differ from their website? If so, I may have to check it out.
