My printer is connected via USB to my main desktop which is running Vista Ultimate x64 and is shared on the network. The printer is an HP laserjet 3030 all in one.
My Dell laptop which runs Vista ultimate x86 can connect to the printer and works just fine. But, my other computers running XP Pro SP2 can not connect to the printer. I try to add the printer and I get this message:
"The server for the Hp Laser Jet 3030 PCL5 printer does not have the correct printer driver installed." It then gives me the option to search for the correct driver. I do not have the original CD so I have been downloading PCL5 drivers off the HP website but none of them have worked. When I select the downloaded driver I get another error message:
"Windows cannot locate a suitable printer driver."
Ive tried every PCL5 driver for the 3030 available on the HP website and I cant get this working, any ideas?
