Having trouble backing up windows XP cd

I've been trying to backup the windows XP cd for a while now and each time that I do it, I encounter problems. This time I've noticed that some of the folders on the windows xp disc cannnot be copied (gets error). Last time I tried backing up my winxp CD I encountered other errors making the disc useless. Can anybody help me back up the winxp cd? I'm using alcohol 120%

update!: When I run CD speed on the current backed up disc, all the sectors are being labled as damage! Please help.

yeah clonecd reads anything if theres errors/scartches it will just read at liek 1x... takes a while but worth it to back up your valuble discs

I use WinISO to make backups of my CD's ....

There is no copy protection on the disk, so either it's scratched or your reader has problems. Either try another app, disk, or drive (at least you know it's not intentional)

Clone CD is the only program that I have that will do it.

I've never had a problem making a copy of mine with nero, cdrwin or clone cd. I've never tried 120% to do it though.

try clonecd, alcohol 120% works great for me i copy as an iso or another cd image.
