Having to launch Battlefield 3 games from my web browser is dumb

Is vanilla BF3 even playable online anymore? Or must you have the expansions?

sure is. I'd even argue that vanilla maps are still the most popular out there. one thing that you might be missing out on are some of the weapons that can only be unlocked with some of the expansion packs, but there are still plenty weapons in vanilla.

I think Battlelog is a major improvement from previous menu/server browser solutions Dice's used in the past.

for some reason most games are laggy for me....playable but laggy

I actually like battlog now. When it came out I had the same WTF reaction to it though.
