Here's a little bit about my system specs then I'll explain the situation I'm having.
P4 3.0
1GB PC3200 Ram
36GB Raptor
BFG 6800GT OC with newest forceware from nvidia
I'm getting some huge studdering problems in games when there are a lot of action and players around.
Playing CS:S, HL2, BF2, F.E.A.R, Far Cry if there are more then 4-5 players it will bog down and get realy choppy.
In CS:S, fps goes down to 10fps when there's a lot of people around.
I've tried reinstalling the drivers.
My next step is going to be reformat the computer.
I've tried resolutions from 1600x1200 down to 800x600 with no aa or af.
It's been awhile since i reformatted so maybe it just needs to a clean start?
It's worked good before but I haven't played games for awhile.
Any ideas anbody?
