Okay my first problem is that the extra set of USB ports that came with my Abit motherboard are not working for some reason. They were working fine for a while then I moved from and Enlight to an Antec and now they are not. They are connected to the motherboard so that is not the problem, also I know the driver for them is installed. What else am I missing?

Secondly, since I have quite a few USB ports I decided to use them. I have the 2 on the motherboard the two extra that aren't working, two on the back of my microsoft keyboard, and the four on my Hercules game theater XP. Well i tried plugging my Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer into one of the ports on the back of the keyboard and it need another fiel off the CD so I installed, and the mouse worked fine, till i tried to use the extra side buttons. They no longer work. Is this because of power or is it something else? They do work when plugged into one of the USB ports on the motherboard?

I guess thats it, so what do you think

If i remember correctly, Abit doesn't provide as many ground pins as it could on the USB connector on the motherboard for the extra ports, my friend had a problem that it would reset everytime he touched the connector. Try to make sure that the shielding (or the mounting plate) is in firm electrical contact with the case (a screw should do it).
