Having some mouse troubles (not the rodent)

Lately (within the past week) my wireless Logitech has begun acting up. Double-clicking when I only single-click. Unclicking when I click and drag something. Makes it hard and very frustrating to do simple tasks like resize a window or rearrange icons. Might there be some dirt or something underneath the click pads? At first I thought maybe the receiver was screwy but my keyboard hasn't been doing anything out of the ordinary.
