Study: As many as 30 per cent of couples in the Philippines are unaware that having sex can result in babies, Health Secretary Manuel Dayrit said on Tuesday.

Wow. I mean, I just thought that common knowledge would have been passed down through history. You know, like even without medical science, you just notice that you start having kids after you have sex and 1+1=...... yeah. Wow. That's really ignorant.

By the way, if it is, it is geared towards indians. They might not have sex ed as intensive as others
 
Don't believe it, if insects know how to reproduce then even an uneducated human would know how to reproduce.

I recall a story about some isolated S. Pacific island culture that apperently never made the connection between sex & babies. Remember Correlation != Causation 😛

Knowing how to reproduce (i.e., how to have sex) and understanding the correlation between sex and reproduction (i.e., how to make a child) are two completely different things. In ancient Sparta they assumed every child was a random blessing from the gods.

That said, the source site appears to be some tabloid bullshit.
