Having problems with my laptop screen, a big white mark on the top right.

Hey all, had my sony laptop for about 6 months now. I've treated it quit well, and just recently the top right of the screen turns white. It's a VERY bright whte, and I was wondeirng if anyone knew how to fix this. I cant ship it to the depot, becuase I need my laptop at all times for company work anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it.

it's kind of like that, although the white mark is in the top right, and it's a circle. It goes from a VERY dense white in the top right, and it spread out while fading back to full color slowly. Dont hav ea digi cam to show you what it looks like :S

besides resetting power, take battery out, unplug AC, and press power holding for 30seconds .. then repower with AC .. which will most likely not even begin to fix that problem .. there is nothing you can do .. Unfortunately, I understand you can't ship it off or whatever cuz you need it .. But Sony will never attempt to fix that problem even if you wanted them too .. No manufacturer covers screen .. If you have an extended warranty from where you bought it (note: this doesn't include American Expresses "magical warranty") then you're kind of sol on it=( .. but if you have extended warranty, I would go ahead and use it .. you may or may not get a new laptop out of the deal ..
