Having problems with Klipsch Promedia 5.1 speakers in BF1942.

I noticed that only the front speakers are working when I play BF1942 or Medal of Honor AA, no sound in center or rear speakers. The speakers work just fine when playing MP3's, wave files or running a speaker test with the creative labs diagnostics. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this.

It's been a while since I've had MOH installed, but as far as I recall, there's a sound configuration section under the settings. Have you tried fiddling with settings there (esp. stuff like headphone/2-speaker/4-speaker/EAX settings)? Also, you could try getting the latest patches for both games. Sorry for the rather vague answer.
 
have the settings on surround sound in MOHAA and their is no option in BF1942 I just have it set to the highest quality 44mhz
 
Best bet is to buy a game not made by EAgames. (note: my current favorite game is BF1942 but I have no love lost for EAgames that the bugs that come with them)
