Having problems with ftp server

Hey guys, i set up an ftp server a while ago, and i am using the newest version of Serv-U. For some reason, when someone is uploading a file to the upload directory, but then the connection breaks, they cannot resume.

I have followed the instructions given with serv-u and i set the file permissions so that people can "append" in the upload directory.

The permissions look like this:

E:\ftp\upload RWA--LC-I (read, write, append, list, create directories, inherit)
E:\ftp R----L--I (read, list, inherit)

I followed the instructions provided with serv-u and it said that if i wanted a sub-directory to have properties that the parent directories didn't have, i should list the rules for the sub directory first (which i did). Does anyone know what i did wrong here?

Thanks in advance.

man, i would recommend getting Serv-U version 3.0 (or whatever the one before it was).... Honestly I felt it was sooo much better and easier to undestand.
